Vivace Chorus
The Vivace Chorus was formerly The Guildford Philharmonic Choir which was formed in 1947 by the Borough of Guildford in Surrey, England, in order to perform the major choral repertoire with the Guildford Philharmonic Orchestra. Since this time, the Choir has grown both in stature and in reputation, and can now rightly claim its place as one of the foremost Choruses in the United Kingdom.

Summary: A concert of popular music featuring the Croydon Symphony Orchestra with Alan Brown (Piano), Juliette Pochin (Mezzo-Soprano) and the Vivace Chorus under the baton of Darrell Davison.

Jeremy Filsell, our accompanist for the last 15 years, is leaving us this summer to take up an appointment as Principal Organist at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC.

We would like to wish Jeremy the very best in this exciting and challenging new role.
